About Us

Öz Yıldırım Group was established in 1995 by our Chairman, Mukadder Yıldırım, in a 150 m² workshop in the Beylikdüzü Haramidere Industrial Site. Initially starting with the production of water bottles used in drinking water stations, the company gained market presence with its uniquely designed bottles. In 1996, the company expanded into the garden sector with the production of parasol stands, and in 1998, it partnered with Celal Birsen, the leading umbrella company in Turkey and Europe, known for the brand TEK-ŞEM. While Celal Birsen produced umbrellas for well-known beverage brands, Öz Yıldırım manufactured parasol stands, gaining significant momentum in both the garden and promotional sectors. The production area grew from 150 m² to 600 m², and the storage area reached 1200 m².

By the year 2000, Öz Yıldırım entered the window display mannequin sector with the “Prens & Prenses Vitrin Mankenleri” brand, which later became the most diverse sector of window display equipment globally. During the years when exports were gaining momentum in Turkey, the company became a leader in mannequin exports. In 2005, the company participated in Euroshop, the world’s most important exhibition held every three years in Düsseldorf, Germany, opening the door to exports to over 70 countries. Öz Yıldırım is proud to be the only Turkish company to participate in this exhibition for six consecutive terms in the plastic mannequin sector.

In 2006, Öz Yıldırım expanded into toys and play equipment under the KING KIDS brand. The company quickly became active in the sector, successfully transferring its mannequin export success into the toy sector, and became a globally known and preferred brand. Since 2007, it has been one of the few companies continuously participating in the Nuremberg Toy Fair, one of the largest toy fairs in the world. Children in many countries enjoy playing with toys produced by this company. With the slogan “Happy children, happy future,” the company continues to develop products with the awareness of always making children happy.

2012 marked the year of the emergence of the OD’S brand. After the closure of Celal Birsen, Öz Yıldırım Group entered the umbrella sector, as nearly 50% of the company’s revenue was associated with this brand. OD’S, continuing the legacy of Celal Birsen, has become an important player in the sector in Turkey and around the world, with its innovations and new models. In 2012, the company moved its factory to a 20,000 m² production facility in Çorlu. This integrated factory produces all parasol components in-house. Since 2015, it has participated in the R&T fair, one of the most prestigious fairs in the world held every three years.

These achievements were made possible by Öz Yıldırım’s constantly evolving vision and customer-focused approach. Öz Yıldırım operates on sustainability and quality-oriented production principles.
